1. Ivan Ilyich–Read and annotate Chapters 1 and 2. In the first two chapters Tolstoy establishes some of the novel’s primary themes. Pay attention to them when annotating. Also, print and read the this handout on Russian names or email/text Daniela or Max (just kidding).
2. Siddhartha Essay–Thesis due Tuesday. 10A, in lieu of posting a word doc with Siddhartha questions, free to peruse the forum if you want to read other questions. Remember, final draft of the essay is due 4/18! One and Done!
