HW due 3/14: The Romantics Continued

1. We are continuing to build toward our first group presentation: Romantic Poetry (Thursday, March 17th).  Over the weekend, print, read, and annotate the following poems:

She Walks in Beauty by Lord Byron
I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud by William Wordsworth
The World is Too Much with Us by William Wordsworth
Love’s Philosophy by Percy Shelley

HW due 3/14: The Stranger and Class Forum

1. The Stranger–Read and annotate the first three chapters.
2. Class Forum–Discuss either Meursault’s characterization or the juxtaposition of these two relationships: Raymond/Mistress and Salamano/Dog. Keep the discussion pithy and focused (200 words). Quote the text.

2. Siddhartha Glossary–Print out and familiarize yourself with this list by Monday.
