HW12G due 4/29: Whitman and TransRom Poem

1. When I Heard the Learn’d Astronomer–Read and annotate!
2. Transcendental/Romantic Poem–(Due Friday, May 1st) This poem should be rooted in either the thematic subject of love, solitude, or God (or a combination). Additionally, you should use the natural world as a device to help develop your chosen theme. As for form, keep in mind that both schools feature irregular rhythm and rhyme. Stanzaic shape is up to you.

HW10 due 4/29: No Exit and Essay Evaluation

1. No Exit–Read and annotate up to p. 42 (Stop at: “It’s because of her I’m staying here.”)

2. Essay Evaluation–Your evaluation should include on-text constructive feedback, the peer evaluation form summing up your on-text feedback, and the rubric grade (max. score of 20).
