HW10 due 3/31 (4/1 for 10G): Ivan Ilyich

1. The Death of Ivan Ilyich–Read and annotate Chapters 3 and 4. Be prepared to shape the literary discourse with your observations, analysis, and questions.
2. NUMBER THE PAGES OF THE NOVEL. Starting with the first page (Chapter I) number that page #1 (I have decided that we will simply start at the number 1 instead of 30 something). Then go from there. Place a number on every page! Even the blank pages (like the one to the left of the Chapter 2 page).

HW12 due 3/31: The Stranger and Goodreads

1. The Stranger–Complete Part I of the novel. As usual, you should continue to annotate. Focus your annotations on questions and thematic observations (i.e. absurdity)
2. Goodreads (Spring) The Stranger #2: Shots Fired

  • Again, a hearty thanks to all of you! Thanks for the inspiration!
