HW12 due 9/30: The Stranger

1. The Stranger—Read and annotate the first three chapters. Focus annotations on the characterization of Meursault.

2. Goodreads: (250 words) Discuss Camus’ initial characterization of Meursault. Use the text to illustrate Camus’ characterization.

3. Keep in mind that you will have to write your first essay (not including in class) on The Stranger. So, stay on top of the reading. Also, track philosophical connections to the text as you go on.
